Information and Tuition

EHA HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

Emerald Heights Academy High School serves 9th and 10th grade students, offering classical liberal arts instruction three days each week during the school year. Each course is three hours per week, totaling one credit per course. Courses for the 2018-2019 school year are:

History – Fall of Rome in 476 A.D. to Fall of Constantinople in 1572
English – Grammar, Composition and Literature
Religion – The Didache-History of the Church (earns 2 credits for 2018-2019 year only)
Latin – Vocabulary and Grammar
Biology – Classification of organisms, cellular biology, genetics, evolution, and ecology

EHA HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY

Julianne Flynn has taught History classes for middle and high school homeschooled students since 2004, and Literature and Biology at the high school level for the past two years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, and also graduated from the Saint Ignatius Institute, a Catholic Liberal Arts program also at USF.

April Bauer has taught Latin for 14 years at various academic levels including high school and college. She was the full-time Latin teacher and International Language Chair at O’Dea High School in Seattle from 2006 to 2014. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin and Classics from University of Washington, April also completed a year of post-graduate studies in Latin and Italian at Duke University and earned a Master’s degree in Classics at San Francisco State University.

Mary Fredrickson earned her Bachelor's degree in Business from Washington State University and worked for Ernst & Young in Seattle and New Zealand. She has a passion for literature and history thanks in part to a convent of nuns who shared their love of these subjects. She has taught privately since 2004, working primarily with middle and high school students.

Application Fee:  $95 per student
Enrollment Fee:  $210 per student

*Books, uniforms, and personal school supplies are not included in tuition.
