Kim Bentler - Principal and K/1/2 Teacher

Mrs. Bentler received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Washington and holds a Washington State teaching certificate. She has taught at St. Catherine Catholic School in Seattle and ran her own State-approved day care. Community volunteer work is very important to her family. Providing food and serving together, they help feed the hungry in their community at the Issaquah Meals Program through Catholic Community Services and Mary Queen of Peace where Mrs. Bentler and her family are parishioners.

Mrs. Carbonetti

Pam Carbonetti - Office Manager

Mrs. Carbonetti, our office manager, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. She grew up in Richland, Washington. Prior to coming to Emerald Heights Academy, Mrs. Carbonetti worked for fifteen years at Virginia Mason Foundation in Seattle, first as a development specialist and then as the associate director of Finance. Mrs. Carbonetti is actively involved at Holy Family Parish in Kirkland, where her family has been parishioners for over 15 years. She enjoys family adventures with her husband and daughter, baking, gardening and going on walks/hikes.

Kim Racine - Finance Manager

Molly McCool - 3/4 Teacher

Mrs. McCool, 3/4 Teacher, attended the University of Oregon where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She then attended Seattle University where she earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. McCool taught for 8 years at Holy Family Parish School in Kirkland, before deciding to stay home with her four children. She is actively involved at Holy Family Parish where her family has been parishioners for over 25 years. Mrs. McCool loves to spend time visiting her friends and family, especially if there is something to learn along the way.

Bonnie Teske

Bonnie Teske - 5/6 Teacher

Mrs. Teske received a degree in Accounting and ran her own company for many years. After homeschooling her three children for 16 years, she discovered her love of teaching and is finishing her Interdisciplinary Studies K-8 degree at Western Governors University. She loves her community and has volunteered in various positions with Boy Scouts, American Heritage Girls, St. Thomas More Home Educators, VFW Post 2995, and WWIN. Mrs. Teske is also a long time parishioner to three churches: St. Monica's, St. Louise, and Holy Family Kirkland. She enjoys camping, hiking, and playing games with family and friends.

Carrie Poole

Carrie Poole - 7/8 Teacher

Mrs. Poole earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Washington and her Teaching Certificate and Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction at Seattle Pacific University. She has taught faith formation as a teacher and trainer in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and has homeschooled her seven children at various times. Mrs. Poole is actively involved at Holy Family Parish in Kirkland where she and her family have attended for more than 20 years. Mrs. Poole enjoys camping and hiking with her family.

Patrick Bucy - K-8 P.E. Teacher

Mr. Bucy is a steadfast UW Husky fan, who earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. He later went on to complete a Master of Arts in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. In his spare time, if he's not playing pickle-ball with his brothers, he enjoys playing bluegrass music with his friends or boogie-boarding on the Washington coast. He is also a very talented photographer and videographer with a great affection for movies and creating videos. Mr. Bucy is a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle.

Corine Bergstrom

Corine Berstrom - K-8 Art Teacher

Mrs. Bergstrom earned her Bachelor Degree in Paralegal studies. Soon after she received her degree she accepted a Sales and Marketing position where she would spend the next 10 years sharing her creative skills at a small company in Woodinville. In 2010 Mrs. Bergstrom began volunteering as an art teacher in the Lake Washington School District to share her love of art and over the next several years she found her true passion as an Art Teacher. She enjoys creating her own art, viewing other artists work, and helping her students find their creative side. She takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge about art history, sharing art concepts, and teaching students how art affects their lives. Mrs. Bergstrom resides in Redmond with her three daughters and husband. Her weekends are spent either on the soccer field or the basketball court watching her daughters' games. She enjoys all things crafty, cooking, and spending time with her family.
